Funyula MP Aspirant Boris Agonga Faces Sh6.8 Million Vehicle Theft

Funyula Constituency MP aspirant Boris Owiye Agonga has been charged at Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi for allegedly stealing a motor vehicle valued at Sh6.82 million, owned by a company he co-directs.

According to court documents, Agonga is accused of unlawfully taking a Land Rover Discovery belonging to Digitalent Systems Limited, where he serves as a director.

“On June 12, 2025 within Nairobi, being a director of Digitalent Systems Limited, you stole motor vehicle registration number KDL 560Z, make Land Rover Discovery valued at Sh6,820,000 being property of Digitalent Systems Limited which came to your possession by virtue of your directorship,” the charge sheet states.

Agonga was arrested by police on February 13, 2026, and later released on a cash bail of Sh20,000.

The case is scheduled for further mention on March 3, 2026.

During the brief court appearance, Agonga did not respond to the charges but was formally informed of the accusations against him.

Agonga’s arrest comes as he campaigns for the Funyula parliamentary seat, adding a legal hurdle to his political ambitions.
