Who Wanted Eva Dead? The Puzzle of a Bomet Woman’s Murder

The tranquil Ririk Village in Bomet County is grappling with shock and grief following the brutal murder of Eva Rachel, a 40-year-old mother of three.

Eva, known for her kindness and industriousness as a salonist, was discovered lifeless in her rented two-bedroom house on Tuesday evening.

Her body bore multiple stab wounds to the neck and chest, and she was found lying in a pool of blood.

The grim discovery was made by Eva’s daughter, who arrived home to find her mother’s lifeless body.

Neighbours were alerted, and the police were promptly notified.

Investigators noted that a thermos filled with tea and a loaf of bread were found on the sitting room table, with household items appearing undisturbed.

This suggested minimal struggle, leading authorities to believe that Eva may have known her assailant.

Speculations are rife regarding the motive behind Eva’s murder.

Some reports suggest that the incident may be linked to a love triangle, though concrete evidence is yet to be presented.

Additionally, a social media post highlighted the tragic irony of the situation, noting that Eva’s young son woke up expecting his mother to prepare him for school, only to find her dead.
