Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale Defends Justin Muturi’s Bold Stand on Abductions and Urges Action on Healthcare System Glitches

Kakamega Senator Dr. Boni Khalwale has come out strongly in support of Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi following his bold stance on the alarming surge of mysterious abductions across Kenya.

Dr. Khalwale, known for his candid and outspoken nature, reiterated that the security of every Kenyan should remain the government’s highest priority, emphasizing that no citizen should live in constant fear due to unresolved cases of enforced disappearances.

In a statement that has captured the attention of many, Dr. Khalwale expressed his deep concern over the escalating number of abduction cases that continue to plague the country, calling for immediate and decisive action from the authorities.

“The safety and well-being of every Kenyan citizen must be protected at all costs,” he said.

“We cannot allow the rise in disappearances to continue unchecked. This is a matter that demands the attention of both the government and the security agencies.”

The Senator further highlighted the critical need for a comprehensive approach to ensure that the victims of these heinous acts are swiftly located and brought to justice, while also safeguarding the rights of all citizens.

He called on the government to restore public confidence in the nation’s security apparatus, warning that the growing fear and uncertainty were eroding the public’s trust in the system.

In addition to his comments on the surge in abductions, Dr. Khalwale also raised a pressing issue within the country’s healthcare system.

He issued a stern call to both the Cabinet Secretary for Health and the Cabinet Secretary for ICT, urging them to immediately address the persistent technical glitches that have been plaguing the government’s SHA (Social Health Application) system.

The ongoing issues with the application have caused significant disruptions in the registration process, locking out countless Kenyans from accessing essential healthcare services at government facilities.

Dr. Khalwale emphasized the urgency of the situation, stating that these technological inefficiencies were unacceptable and should not stand in the way of Kenyans receiving the medical care they desperately need.

“No Kenyan should be denied healthcare due to avoidable glitches in the system,” he asserted.

“We cannot continue to allow bureaucratic and technological hurdles to prevent citizens from getting the treatment they deserve.

The government must act swiftly to resolve these issues and ensure that the SHA application is functioning smoothly.”

The Senator’s calls for swift action on both fronts underscore his commitment to addressing the concerns of ordinary Kenyans, whether it be their security or their access to critical public services.

His outspoken advocacy highlights the importance of transparency, accountability, and quick response in ensuring the safety and well-being of the nation’s citizens.
