Spaces Debuts Premium Coworking Hub at GTC Nairobi

International Workplace Group (IWG) officially launched its premium coworking brand, Spaces, at the iconic Global Trade Centre (GTC), 14th Floor, marking its first location in Kenya.

The event held on September 1,2025 brought together top partners, industry leaders, and clients for a curated networking session and guided tour of the artfully designed facilities.

The launch signals IWG’s bold entry into Nairobi’s fast-growing flexible workspace market.

Among the notable guests were Diaspace Limited architect Peter Nderitu, Spaces Centre Manager Claudia Cherono, Regus Delta Community Associate Wycliffe Ihili, and Dubai Chambers Chief Representative for East Africa Michael Gathu.

They joined fellow stakeholders and clients in exploring the innovative layout and amenities of the new space, designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and productivity in a modern work environment.

Attendees were taken through the facility’s unique art installations, open-plan lounges, high-spec meeting rooms, and private offices, each element tailored to meet the evolving demands of freelancers, startups, and corporate teams.

Guests also had the chance to interact directly with decision-makers and gain insight into the global future of work, especially within East Africa’s rapidly transforming business ecosystem.

Speaking at the event, Spaces Centre Manager Claudia Cherono highlighted the brand’s mission: “Spaces is more than just an office—it’s a community. We’re creating environments where innovation thrives, and today’s launch sets the tone for what we’re bringing to the region.”

With more brands seeking agility and dynamic office setups, Spaces is poised to become a key player in Nairobi’s premium coworking scene.
